As this year rolls to an end (thank goodness!), we as an organisation are looking to the future to make sure that we have the resources to be able to continue offering our services to our community members.
One way is to encourage our supporters, like you, to get involved! And there are so many ways show your support for what we do. We’ve listed a few ideas, but if you have a way to support us that isn’t here, just get in contact! We would love to hear any out-of-the-box ideas.
Does your workplace match donations? A lot of larger organisations have a programme in place where they will match your donations, when you donate out of your pre-tax salary. Not sure if yours does? It doesn’t hurt to ask!
Raising donations can be as fun as hosting a high tea, running an online quiz night, selling tickets to a webinar or online performance. So gather some mates and have a great time in the name of a great cause.
Donations of goods
We are always open for brands to donate their products for us to use in our online shop. This could be anything from candles to beauty products. Donations allow Pink Hope to use 100% of the profits for our support programmes. Next year we are launching care packages in our online shop for people who want to buy a gift for someone going through cancer, as well as sports packs which we can use in virtual sports fundraisers.
Donation of Services
We need all kinds of support, so if you have any capacity for donating services, we are always in need of supporters who can help with printing, packaging, office space, storage, marketing, and advertising. Or perhaps you have IT skills, writing skills or design skills that could help us out…
Volunteering your time
We know that time is a valuable commodity, so if you’re able to donate any of yours we would be very grateful. We always need help packing and sending products at busy times of the year, such as Mother’s Day, Bright Pink Lipstick Day and Christmas.
