My story began just over 12 months ago. I was 33 and diagnosed with a triple negative breast cancer. I’ve been through chemo, breast saving surgery and radiation. All whilst raising three young children and maintaining whatever I could from my pre-cancer life.
It was hard and I was tested to my absolute depths and at times I felt like giving up, but it was everything I still had to live for that kept me going. I am now completely cancer free and re-building my life one step at a time.
I am stronger, wiser and more fulfilled than ever before. My life has taken on new meaning and I vow that what I’ve been through will never have been for nothing.
A message from Jane
Finding pink hope and giving back where I can has been an important part of my recovery, I am very grateful to have found such an amazing community!
My message to others is to try and take what positives you can out of even the hardest situations, as when you find gratitude even when you don’t feel like it, you will feel happiness, peace and contentment
