Women Who Lead – Meet Alison Rice
June is the month of Pink Hope’s Pinky Promise, a time to remind women everywhere to stop, reflect and reconsider the way they approach their health. To kick-off this important conversation, we’re bringing you our first-ever Women Who Lead event; a beautiful dinner celebration where you’ll be moved to reflect on how you approach your health and self-care by hearing the stories from some of Australia’s leading ladies.
One of our incredible speakers include Alison Rice. She is the Founder of Offline The Podcast and a multiple award-winning journalist and digital leader. Alison started her career at The Walkley Foundation for Excellence in Journalism before going on to lead and launch U.S. media brands POPSUGAR, Who What Wear, Byrdie and MyDomaine in Australia.
Alison is a known mentor in the media industry and beyond, and continues to pioneer brand, audience and editorial strategies that empower the country’s next generation of female leaders and entrepreneurs. She lives by her “pull up” leadership philosophy — grab as many hands as you can, and take other women with you.
Alison is passionate about driving dialogue around what it means to be a modern woman today, and brings her signature mix of authenticity and authority to Instagram sharing everything from spiritual exploration, to leadership advice and beauty recommendations.
In September 2018, Alison launched the now-acclaimed Offline, The Podcast. Offline is a series of honest conversations with the women behind the Instagram accounts and the teachers who help us on our way. It is a regular on Apple Podcasts’ top Australian self help podcasts list and on International Women’s Day, was featured in its Inspiring Women podcast round-up.
100% of proceeds from this event will go directly towards Pink Hope’s life-saving mission.
