Women Who Lead – Meet Tammy Barton
June is the month of Pink Hope’s Pinky Promise, a time to remind women everywhere to stop, reflect and reconsider the way they approach their health. To kick-off this important conversation, we’re bringing you our first-ever Women Who Lead event; a beautiful dinner celebration where you’ll be moved to reflect on how you approach your health and self-care by hearing the stories from some of Australia’s leading ladies.
One of our incredible speakers include Tammy Barton. She is one of Australia’s leading business women and the Founder and Director of personal budgeting company MyBudget, which has grown into a national success story.
In 1999 and aged just 22, Tammy started the business from her home kitchen table after realising she could help people to gain control of their finances and manage their personal budgets.
In 2009, MyBudget debuted on Business Review Weekly’s Fastest Growing Companies list in the 52nd position. It remained on the Fast 100 list for a further three consecutive years.
Tammy’s recognition in the corporate arena has been outstanding where she has been named 2017 Telstra South Australian Business Woman of the Year, as well as Ernst & Young’s ‘Young’ Entrepreneur of the Year for the central region. Most recently, Tammy was acknowledged by International Business Times Australia in its 100 Women of Influence Awards. Tammy has been on the BankSA Advisory Board for 6 years.
MyBudget’s sustained growth reflects the company’s unwavering commitment to reducing financial stress and empowering the community.
100% of proceeds from this event will go directly towards Pink Hope’s life-saving mission.
